Dewayne Tommy Kinslow

Dewayne Tommy Kinslow, age 58, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at his home. He attended service at Glen Lily Church of God of Prophecy. He was a former Hart County Sheriff Deputy under Sheriff Lesenby and Sheriff Wilson. He enjoyed fishing and cleaning up cars, he never met a stranger.

He is the son of the late Wayne Kinslow and the late Peggy McCorkle.

He is is preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Lile.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Edna Kinslow; two sons, Jacob Kinslow, Upton, KY, Michael Chesser, Arizona; one daughter, Jessica Monroe and her husband Chris, Horse Cave, KY; five grandchildren, Addie Kinslow, Hailey Jewell (Daniel), Katlyn Johnson, Taelor Chesser,  and Dominick Chesser; three sisters, Lou Bennett, Cave City, KY, Stacey Bradbury (Tom), Park City, KY, Melissa Senig (James), Munfordville, KY; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM- 8:00 PM CT on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 and again on from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM CT on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CT on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Brooks Funeral Home with Junior Murphy and Sharon Prather officiating. Burial will follow in Weldon Cemetery.
