David Ray Brewer

David Ray Brewer, age 73, of Canmer, KY, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was owner of Brewer Trucking and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late David Jessie Brewer and the late Lucy Ann Jordan Brewer. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Bertha Mae Brewer and Rosie Hayes and two brothers Willie Robert Brewer and Leonard Houston Brewer.

He is survived by one daughter, Renea Ford, Elizabethtown, KY; one son, Kenny Brewer, Canmer, KY; four sisters, Jessie Barbour, Canmer, KY, Mary Booker, Louisville, KY, Lucille Cox, Hodgenville, KY, Patricia McBride (James), Henderson, KY; four grandchildren, Deidra R. Ford, Desire' Ford, Sa'von Brewer and Samiyah Brewer; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM CT, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Stanford Dixon and Rev. Kenny Carter Jr officiating. Interment will be at Mt.
