Dale Melloan

Dale Melloan, age 60, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was retired teacher from Hart County Board Of Education and currently employed by Hart County Tourism. He was a member of Hart County Retired Teachers Association and a member and Deacon of Munfordville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Becky Melloan; three sons: Kevin Melloan (Julie), Lexington, KY, Kyle Melloan (Meghan), Lexington, KY, Justin Melloan, Munfordville, KY; one sister: Maxine Reynolds, Horse Cave, KY; three brothers: Kenneth Melloan (Linda), Horse Cave, KY, Jerry Melloan (Paulette), Munfordville, KY, Danny Melloan (Marilyn), Edmonton, KY; four grandchildren: Ava Grace Melloan, Graham Melloan, Jackson Melloan, Matilda Joy Melloan all of Lexington; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2011 and from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2011. Funeral service will be at Munfordville Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2011, Bro. John Smith officiating. Interment will be at Horse Cave Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY. Memorial donations can be made to Hart County Public Library or Munfordville Baptist Church.
