Colonel Luther Caldwell

Colonel Luther Caldwell, age 89, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. He was formerly employed by Hart County Bank & Trust Company, farmer and was a member of Munfordville Lions Club and Munfordville First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of University of Kentucky. He served in the Army during the World War II. He was the son of the late Hardin Caldwell and the late Jennie "Jenn" Craddock Caldwell and husband of the late Margaret Swope "Sug" Caldwell. He is survived by one daughter: Jane Link of Athens, GA; two sons: Richard Link (Pam) of Munfordville, KY, Bob Link of Athens, GA; three grandchildren: Steven Link, Jason Link, Ben Link; three great grandchildren: Chandler Link, Branson Link, Alex Link; cousins: Dorothy P. Craddock of Munfordville, KY, J. D. Craddock III (Nevellen) of Munfordville, KY. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2010 and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2010. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2010, Bro. Randy Jones and Bro. Rick Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
