Clarence Johnson, age 72, of Munfordville, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. The Jefferson county native was born on January 16, 1934. He was a construction worker and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Joseph Johnson and Edith Shuck Johnson.
He is survived by his wife Carrie (Webb) Johnson of Munfordville, KY; four daughters: Lurlee Young of Shelbyville, KY; Alice White and her husband Charles of Simpsonville, KY; Diane Young of Shelbyville, KY; & Pamela Alexander of Munfordville, KY; one son: Moses Young of Lexington, KY;
He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Morning Star Baptist Church from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Thursday, April 13, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM CDT Friday, April 14, 2006. Funeral services will be at Morning Star Baptist Church at 11:00 AM CDT Friday, April 14, 2006 with Rev. Warner Fishback officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens in Munfordville, KY.
