Clara Lee Cox

Clara Lee Cox, age 83, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. She was a child care giver and a member of Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Jepp Bridgeman and the late Lizzie Bridgeman and wife of the late John H. Cox Jr. She is survived by four daughters: Sharon Benningfield, Horse Cave, KY, Quint Butler (Raybon), Munfordville, KY, Sue Coe (Terry), Glasgow, KY, Nancy Firkins (Jim), Cave City, KY; one sister: Pauline Thompson, Munfordville, KY; two brothers: Jepp Bridgeman, Jr., Glasgow, KY, Clayton Bridgeman, Flatwoods, KY; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Amy Butler. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, September 20, 2012 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Robbie Ward officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
