Charles David Dixon

Rev. Charles David Dixon, age 63, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. Rev.Dixon was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was the son of the late William C. Dixon and the late Augusta Olivia Lothery Dixon. He was also preceded in death by a son Carlos Cortez Dixon.

He is survived by his wife, Melisa Dixon; one son, Marcus Dixon, Bonnieville, KY; one daughter, Jasmine Sullivan, Glasgow, KY; step son, Nelson Cole Jr., Bowling Green and a step daughter, Scierra Cole, Glasgow, KY; two grandchildren; three sisters, Eva Wooten, Hodgenville, KY, Dorene Whalen, Bonnieville, KY, Lottie Martin, Radcliff, KY; six brothers, Rev. Stanford Dixon, Horse Cave, KY, Rodney Dixon, Bowling Green, KY, Douglas Dixon, London, KY, Russell Dixon, Horse Cave, KY, Jimmy Dixon, Hodgenville, KY, Michael Dixon, Bonnieville, KY several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM CT, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Evan Fant and Rev. Charles Fishback officiating. Interment will be at Dixon Cemetery, Bonnieville, KY.

The funeral will also be livestreamed on Facebook.
