Charlene Cobb Curry

Charlene Cobb Curry, age 70, of Horse Cave, KY, died Monday, July 6, 2009, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. She was a retired X-Ray Technician for Dr. Hill, former van driver for Community Action, a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she served on the Kitchen Committee, Church Clerk, Assistant Sunday School Secretary, choir member and Missionary member. She was the daughter of the late Oswald Cobb and Pervetor Coates Cobb and wife of the late Paul Houston Curry. She is survived by two daughters: Paula Stone (Bennie), Bardstown, KY, Lisa Perry (Cecil), Horse Cave, KY; four sons: Charles Curry (Tammy), Ft. Lewis, WA, Rev. Chris Curry (Mary), Glasgow, KY , Derrick Curry, Nonore, TN, Travis Curry, Vonore, TN; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild: two sister-in-laws: Barbara Curry, Louisville, KY, Virginia Curry, Louisville, KY; one brother-in-law: Rev. William Curry (Myrtle); many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home of Munfordville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 10, 2009 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Friendship Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2009, Rev. Chris Curry and Rev. K. T. Ford officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY.
