Carol Ann Atwell

Carol Ann Atwell, age 73 of Hardyville, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at The Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Carol was a retired beautician and an operator of the family business, Atwell Farm Supply. She was a faithful member of Joyners Chapel Church and served as the secretary-treasurer along with many other roles. Carol loved her church and serving the Lord. She also found great joy and happiness in being surrounded by her family and many friends of the Amish community.

Carol was the daughter of the late Dorchus and Bessie Mae "Dot" Atwell.

She is survived by her son, Ryan M. Atwell (Angie); two brothers, Denny Atwell (Debbie) and Lenny Atwell; two grandchildren, Lauren Hanner (AJ) and Katie Heath; one great-grandchild, Oakley Ann Hanner; one nephew, Dave Atwell; one niece, Heather Walker; and several great-nieces and one great-nephew also survive.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. CT on Thursday, March 28, 2024 and again from 8:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. CT on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. CT on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Riordan and Bro. Nicky Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Houk Cemetery in Hardyville, Kentucky.
