Brenda Smith, age 76, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at her residence in Bonnieville, KY. She was a seamstress and costume designer and a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church.
The Louisville native was the daughter of the late Eugene Murphy and the late Mary Lucille Belcher Murphy.
She is survived by one daughter, Theresa Johnson and husband Darrell, Bonnieville, KY; four grandchildren, Fawn Rodgiguez and husband Jesse, Texas, Nathaniel Taul, Hardinsburg, KY, Brenna Reineke and husband Josh of Radcliff, KY, Christine Taul of Prestonburg, KY; three great grandchildren, Anastasia & Emma Baker, Elaina Marie Reineke; one sister, Patricia Spurling, Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Murphy.
Mrs. Smith has chosen cremation.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home.
