Brenda Jo Shaffer, age 63, of Magnolia, KY, died Friday, August 21, 2009, at her residence in Magnolia, KY. She was a homemaker, a member of Linwood Baptist Church and worked with the Linwood Fire Department. Ms. Shaffer was a member of the Munfordville Lions Club and a Past Commander of Mid-Illini Power Squandron. She enjoyed boating, gardening, arts, & crafts.
She was the daughter of the late Eugene McManamy and Ruth Trimble of Murray, KY.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband: Glenn Shaffer.

Glenn Shaffer, III (Cecilia), Decatur, IL
Roger Shaffer (Lisa), Heyworth, IL
One Granddaughter:
Kelli Jo Shaffer
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Jerry McManamy and sister, Donna Warren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kentucky or National Special Olympics or to the Linwood Fire Department.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM CT at Linwood Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Shelton officiating.
