Brandy Shantell Waffird, age 25, of Horse Cave, KY died Friday, December 22, 2006, near her residence in Horse Cave, KY. The Nashville, TN native was born on January 20, 1981. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Akron McGee Jenkins and Vanessa (Waffird) Hardesty of Horse Cave, KY. She is also survived by her Step-Father: Phillip Hardesty of Horse Cave, KY; One Sister: Courtney Gabrielle Wilson of Horse Cave, KY; Two Step-Sisters: Brandy Greene of Munfordville, KY & Latoya Haskins of Glasgow, KY; Two Step-Brothers: Chris Greene of Glasgow, KY & Duane Haskins of Fort Bragg, NC; Maternal Grandmother: Mary Lois Waffird of Nashville, TN; Paternal Grandmother: Martha Lee Fern of Nashville, TN; Paternal Grandfather: Tyrie Jenkins of Nashville, TN; Two Special Friends: Demetria LaDawn Brents of Glasgow, KY & Earl Payton of Hardyville, KY; Several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY. The family will receive friends at Friendship Baptist Church in Horse Cave, KY from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST Friday, December 29, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST Saturday, December 30, 2006. Funeral service will be at Friendship Baptist Church at 1:00 PM CST Saturday, December 30, 2006 with Rev. Edward McDowell and Rev. Keith Rowletts officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens in Munfordville, KY.
