Brandon Jamarr Thornton, age 28, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He attended the Old Home Place Adult Day Care and Woodsonville Baptist Church. He was the son of Richard A. Rogers of Russellville, KY and Carolyn S. Buntyn and special father Rev. Wesley Buntyn of Munfordville, KY. Besides his parents, he is survived by four brothers: Terrell Thornton, Louisville, KY, Jarrod Thornton, Munfordville, KY, Rico Mitchell, Louisville, KY, Mario Buntyn, Munfordville, KY; extended brothers & sisters: A.J., Deontae, & Antonio Williams, Munfordville, KY; Shamonica, Sadia, Shonda & Cookie Coleman, Alberta, AL; grandparents: Carol Thornton, Munfordville, KY, Bertha Rogers, Munfordville, KY, Jewell & Maxine Thornton, Louisville, KY, Mary Buntyn, Bolivar, TN; eleven aunts, eight uncles; two nieces: Kalisah Thornton, Glasgow, KY, Ryan Mitchell, Louisville, KY; one nephew: Demario Austin, Glasgow, KY; host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Woodsonville Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the church with Rev. Ronnie Bryant and Rev. Kendell Ford officiating. Interment will be at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens, Munfordville, KY.
