Bobby Melton, age 74, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a native of Kentucky. He was retired from Smurfit- Stone Container in Indiana.
He was the son of the late Lloyd Melton and the late Grace Edwards Melton.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Ray and Fred Leslie Melton; three sisters, Alma Trulock, Glenna Faye Melton and Thelma Sue Melton.
He is survived by one brother, Willis K. Melton, Hardyville, KY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Thursday, August 18, 2022 and again from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in the chapel of Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 19, 2022 with Bro. Chuck Templeman officiating. Interment will be at Edwards Cemetery, Munfordville, KY
