Billy Reed Davis, age 60, of Cave City, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave, KY. He was formerly employed by Mary Lou Carey and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was the son of the late Bill Davis and Beulah Young Davis and the husband of the late Rosa Waddell Davis.
He is survived by his Mother: Beulah Young Davis, Cave City, KY; three sisters: Doranell Hawkins, Glasgow, KY, Linda Pedigo, Cave City, KY, Dorothy Barlow, Tompkinsville, KY; one brother: Robert Davis, Horse Cave, KY; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters: Lucy Wilson, Bertha Lee Neal, Nettie Gilpin, Sarah Piercy.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, January 21, 2011 and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2011. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2011, Bro. Merle Hatcher officiating. Interment will be at Cherry Springs Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
