Bill Hensley, age 55, of Canmer, KY, passed away at 12:30 AM CT Friday, October 10, 2008, at his residence in Canmer, KY. The Hart County native was born on June 16, 1953. He was a farmer and was a member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was the son of the late Landis Hensley and the late Gladys (Smith) Hensley.
He is survived by his Wife; Pam Hensley; a Step-Daughter: Kim Spears of Hardyville, KY; a Step-Son: Samuel Norris of Crail Hope, KY;Four Sisters: Mattie Faye Jewell, Canmer, KY; Vivian Heath, Sonora, KY; Frances Zimmerman, Decatur, IL; Jan Yanders, Paxton, IL; Three Brothers: Nolan Hensley, Canmer, KY; Keith & Landis Hensley, Jr., both of Hardyville, KY.
He is also survived by four step-grandchildren & several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Martha Sue Hensley; a brother: James Thomas Hensley; & a half-brother: Norlan Hensley.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM CT, Saturday, October 11, 2008 and from 9:00 AM to time of funeral service Sunday, October 12, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT, Sunday, October 12, 2008 with Rev. Nolan Hensley & Rev. Douglas Barbour officiating. Interment will be at Conyers Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
