Bessie May Cathey

Bessie May Cathey, age 77, of Horse Cave, KY passed away at 7:55 PM CT Friday, December 5, 2008, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on September 10, 1931. She was homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She was the daughter of the late Calvin Jones and the late Harriet (Vance) Jones. She was married to the late Richard Cathey. She is survived by One Son: James Cathey, Horse Cave, KY; One Sister: Georgia Ann Cahoe, Horse Cave, KY; One Brother: Robert Jones, Shepherdsville, KY; Foster Daughter: Barbara Wilkes, Merkil, TX. She is also survived by 3 Foster Grandchildren: Donna Hassel, James & Donald Day and 6 Foster Great-Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT, Monday, December 8, 2008 & from 9:00 AM to time of service Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 1:00 PM CT, Tuesday, December 9, 2008 with Bro. Dewayne Cook officiating. Interment will be at Wilkerson Temple Cemetery, Munfordville, KY.
