Beatrice Sullivan

Beatrice S. Sullivan, age 92, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Helmwood Health Care Center in Elizabethtown, KY after a brief illness. She was a retired nurse from Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer, MA where she worked for over 30 years. She served in the US Navy as an RN at Chelsea, MA and more recently worked at Logan's Discount Foods in Bonnieville from '07 - '09. She was a member of Eastern Star and also Second Congregational Church both in Palmer, MA. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Bishop and the late Joyce Booth Bishop. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. Sullivan. She is survived by two daughters: Carol Johnston (Terry), Fairport, NY, Gail Ash (Lonnie), Bonnieville, KY; one sister: Barbara Hooten (Len), Palmer, MA; three grandchildren: Michael Carr (Kathy), Lexington, KY, Timothy Carr (Christie), Elizabethtown, KY, Kimberly Pacheco (Todd), Kissimmee, FL; four great grandchildren: Trevor Carr, Brenden Carr, Whitney Carr, Jordan Pacheco; two cousins: Jean & David Albro, Elizabethtown, KY; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Cottrell officiating. Red was Bea's favorite color. Please feel free to wear any red clothing to her service. Burial will be at a later time in the Oak Knoll Cemetery, Palmer, MA. Memorial donations may be made to the Bonnieville Volunteer Fire Department in memory of Bea Sullivan. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY.
