Artie Marie (Brown) Puckett

Artie Marie Puckett, age 89, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown, KY. She was a homemaker and was a member of Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the Late Joe Brown and the late Pinky Ellen Saltkill Brown.

She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Johnson and husband Bobby, Munfordville, KY;  Sandra Puckett and fiance Ricky Howell, Magnolia, KY, Elizabeth Wilson and husband Donnie, Hardyville, KY;  four sons, Denny Puckett, Munfordville, KY, Larry Puckett and wife Gladys, Elizabethtown, KY, Billy Joe Puckett and wife Donna, Munfordville, KY, Tom Puckett and wife Kathy, Munfordville, KY;  three sisters, Sadie Caple, Fairdale, KY, Cora Mae Cantrell, Elizabethtown, KY, Betty Dever, Hodgenville, KY;  one brother, J.T. Brown, California.  15 Grand Children, 24 Great-Grand Children and several Great Great-Grand Children also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters. Lydia Miller, Christine Burba, Frances Skaggs, Dorothy Van Meter;  two brothers, Paul Brown and Melvin Brown;  two daughters in law, Linda Puckett and Patsy Puckett.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM CT, Thursday, July 31, 2014 and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT, Friday, August 1, 2014, Bro. Ben Benningfield  and Rev Scott Kerr officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville City Cemetery, Munfordville, KY

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE TO THE LEITCHFIELD CROSSING BUILDING FUND OR THE GIDEONS.  DONTATIONS FOR BOTH CAN BE LEFT AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
