Alberta M. Dennis

Alberta M. Dennis, age 68, of Munfordville, KY passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. The Edmonson County native was born on August 12, 1938. She was employed by Louisville Bedding Company for 19 years as a surger and was a caretaker. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Ada (Cox) Pierce. She is survived by her husband Tommy Dennis of Munfordville, KY; Two Sons: Marshall Wayne Lewis of Leitchfield, KY; Carl Thomas Lewis of Munfordville, KY; One Sister: Dorothy Thomas of Munfordville, KY: Five Brothers: Richard Pierce of Cub Run,KY; Raymond Pierce of Bowling Green, KY; Hubert, Carlos, and Leroy Pierce all of Louisville, KY; One grandson: Logan Lewis of Owensboro, KY; Special Friend: Sheila Burd of Greensburg, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Cecil, Joseph, & Howard Pierce. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday, August 16, 2006 and at Pleasant View Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until service time Thursday, August 17, 2006. Funeral service will be at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 2:00 PM CDT Thursday, August 17, 2006 with Bro. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
