Adeline Elizabeth Cox

Adeline Elizabeth Cox, age 75, of Cub Run, KY passed away Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The Hart County native was born on February 23, 1931. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Edgar McDowell and the late Janie (Carroll) McDowell. She was married to the late Willie E. Cox. She is survived by her Five Daughters: Daris Spencer, Lynn Shelby, Lorrie Logsdon, and Janice Meredith all of Cub Run, KY; & Susan Reams of Pineville, LA; Three Sons: Carl E. Cox of London, KY; Reed Cox & Jerry Cox both of Cub Run, KY; Three Sisters: Ora Meredith of Cub Run, KY; Annie Sedlar of Floyds Knob, IN; Barbara Lotze of Louisville, KY; Two Brothers: Ova McDowell of Jeffersonville, IN; & Eugene McDowell of Cub Run, KY; Half-Sister: June Rowe of Louisville, KY; & Half-Brother: Junior McDowell of Munfordville, KY; Fourteen grandchildren Ten great-grandchildren She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie E. Cox and a daugther: Loretta Cox. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM CDT Friday, April 28, 2006 and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM CDT Saturday, April 29, 2006. Visitation will be at Macedonia Baptist Church on Sunday, April 30, 2006 from 9:00 AM until service time. Funeral service will be at the church at 1:00 PM CDT Sunday, April 30, 2006 with Bro. Jeff Doyle & Bro. Eldridge Renfro officiating. Interment will be at Cherry Springs Cemetery in Cub Run, KY.
