Addie Gardner Logsdon

Addie Gardner Logsdon, age 102, of Cub Run, KY, passed away at 5:45 PM ET Friday, October 3, 2008, at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown. The Hardin County native was born on April 14, 1906. She was a homemaker and a member of Cane Run Missionary Baptist Church. Her parents were the late Joshua and Georgia (Linder) Akers. She was married to the late Leonard O. Gardner and Elmer Logsdon. She is survived by One Daughter: Freida Bonn (Earl), Brandenburg, KY; One Son: L. A. "Buster" Gardner, Munfordville, KY. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, & 24 Great-Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son: Carson Gardner; & two daughters: Eunice Logsdon & Lucy Cline. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 8:00 PM CT, Sunday, October 5, 2008 and after 9:00 AM until time of service on Monday, October 6, 2008. Funeral service will be at Brooks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM CT on Monday, October 6, 2008 with Bro. Paul C. Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Cub Run Cemetery, Cub Run, KY.
